Beginning in 2021 Sabbath Seminars began to make decisions regarding Adventism and LGBTQIA rights
2021: Voted against the Ted Wilson statement against the Adventist LGBTQIA
2021: Voted a mission statement that included the embrace of an open and affirming relationship to its LGBTQIA members
2022: Conducted its landmark series The Inland Empire LGBTQIA Adventist
2022: Adventist LGBTQIA members joined and participated in Sabbath Seminars
2024-2026: The LLU Church Board created a Sexuality Taskforce which reported to the board. Sabbath Seminars had appointed a church board observer in late 2023. Reports and reflections on those observations relating to the taskforce reports are HERE.
2026: Conducted its second major series Welcoming the LGBTQIA Adventistt, organized by Elizabeth Rogers with some LLU collaboration

The Adventist Church and the HIV/AIDS Epidemic
Dr. Ron Lawson presented on more general sociological anecdotes from his research on Adventists (there is no recording of this morning presentation), and continuing in the afternoon with presentations by Elizabeth Rogers and Dr. Harvey Elder who told their stories of the founding of the Inland Aids Project, which each were key agents in founding.
